DLE Classroom Visits to Provide Feedback & Support Implementation
on the Gómez & Gómez Elementary and Secondary DLE Programs
Description: Elementary or Secondary DLE classroom visits are highly recommended as they provide a much deeper understanding of the DLE program components and strategies in the school and classroom setting that leads to greater program fidelity, sustainability and maximizes learner outcomes.
Our DLE classroom visits consist of DLTI observers that visit each classroom for 25-30 minutes, give immediate feedback to teachers in his/her classroom, and hold a summary meeting with principal(s) at the end of the visit to support fidelity of implementation and program sustainability. Teachers receive a copy of their observation, campus principal receives a copy of “summary” campus observation, and district receives copies of both forms.
Note: DLE Classroom visits are intended to be supportive, not evaluative.
